Frederic (Fritz) Reid – Coast Cattle Duck Club

Frederic (Fritz) Reid first hunted ducks with his Grandfather in the late 1960s in Minnesota.  He was fortunate to hunt the Grasslands as a guest in 1983 and regularly shot from the ‘90s.  He is a current member of the Coast Cattle Duck Club and annual shooter at Kerry Duck Club.  He holds a M.S. and Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife Ecology from the University of Missouri, with an emphasis in Wetland Ecology.  Working for over 20 years in the Central Valley, he served as Chair of the Central Valley Joint Venture.  Dr. Reid has been employed by Ducks Unlimited in various capacities since 1990 and currently serves as Director of Boreal and Arctic Conservation.  He remains an avid waterfowler, especially in California and Alberta.
