NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE GRASSLAND WATER DISTRICT

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Grassland Water District will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at:

Grassland Water District, 200 W. Willmott Avenue, Los Banos, CA 93635

If you need directions to the District facilities or if special assistance is required, please call the GWD office, (209) 826-5188 by Monday, April 7, 2025.  If you bring printed material for distribution at the board meeting, please bring at least 12 copies with you.

AGENDA

  1. CORRECTIONS OR ADDITIONS TO AGENDA – The Board will consider corrections or additions to the Agenda for items requiring immediate action that have come to the attention of the Board after the posting of the Agenda.

  2. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION – Members of the audience will be permitted to address the Board on items affecting their operations and items within their jurisdiction. The President may limit the time available for comment.
  3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – The Board will consider approval of the Minutes of the GWD Board meeting for March 11, 2025.

  4. PAYMENT OF BILLS – The Board will be asked to approve payment of the April 2025 bills.

PUBLIC HEARING ON WHETHER TO ENDORSE, OPPOSE, OR TAKE NO POSITION ON STATE LEGISLATIVE PROPOSALS AFFECTING THE GRASSLANDS – The GWD Board will hold a hearing to receive comments from stakeholders and the public, and will thereafter consider whether or not to endorse, oppose, or take no position on the following state legislative proposals:

    AB 707 (Soria) San Luis and Delta-Mendota Water Authority: B.F. Sisk Dam Raise and Reservoir Expansion Project (SUPPORT)

  8. RESOLUTION 2025-006 AUTHORIZING THE GENERAL MANGER TO SIGN AND EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNSERSTAND BETWEEN THE CITY OF LOS BANOS AND GRASSLAND WATER DISTRICT REGARDING COOPERATIVE EFFORTS TO IMPLEMENT THE BASINS AND STORM WATER CAPTURE PROJECT
