Notice is hereby given that a Joint Special Meeting of the Boards of Directors of Grassland Water District and Grassland Resource Conservation District and Grassland Groundwater Sustainability Agency will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at:
Grassland Water District, 200 W Willmott Avenue, Los Banos, CA 93635
If you need directions to the District’s facilities or if special assistance is required, please call the GWD office, (209) 826-5188 by Monday, February 10, 2025. If you are bringing printed material for distribution at the board meeting, please bring at least 12 copies with you.
GRASSLAND GROUNDWATER SUSTAINABILITY AGENCY AGENDA
- CORRECTIONS OR ADDITIONS TO GGSA AGENDA – The Boards will consider corrections or additions to the Agenda for items requiring immediate action that have come to the attention of the Boards after the posting of the Agenda.
Board action required if corrections or additions are made - PUBLIC PARTICIPATION FOR GGSA – Members of the audience will be permitted to address the Boards on items affecting GGSA operations and items within their jurisdiction. The President may limit the time available for comment.
- APPROVAL OF MINUTES – The GGSA Board will consider approval of the Minutes for the GGSA Regular Board Meeting on August 13, 2024.
Board action required - STATUS UPDATE – The GGSA Board will receive an update on the status of planning, implementation, and financing under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).
- GGSA RESOLUTION 2025-001 ADOPTING THE DELTA MENDOTA SUBBASIN ZONE 2 (GRASSLAND GSA GROUP, INCLUDING THE MERCED COUNTY DELTA MENDOTA GSA AND SAN JOAQUIN RIVER EXCHANGE CONTRACTOR GSA GROUP) PUMPING REDUCTION PLAN FOR THE DELTA MENDOTA 2024 GROUNDWATER SUSTAINABILITY PLAN
The Board to consider the adoption of the Delta Mendota Subbasin Zone 2 (Grassland GSA Group, including the Merced County Delta Mendota GSA and San Joaquin River Exchange Contractor GSA Group) Pumping Reduction Plan for the Delta Mendota 2024 Groundwater Sustainability Plan.
