NOTICE OF GENERAL DISTRICT ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that a General District Election
will be held in this District on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

  1. The names of the offices for which candidates may be nominated are as follows:

    Two (2) Directors to be elected at large, each for a term of four-years
  2. The qualifications of a nominee and of an elective office of the District are as follows:
    A nominee for the office of Director must be an owner of land within the Grassland Resource Conservation District, or their agent, regardless of whether they are residents of the District.  Public Resources Code Sec. 9352
  3. The following measures are to be voted on:  N/A
  4. Official filing papers for eligible candidates desiring to file for any of the elective offices may be obtained from the Secretary of the District, 200 W. Willmott Avenue, Los Banos, CA  93635.    Declaration of Candidacy forms will be available beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026 through 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2026.

    In the event that there are no nominees or an insufficient number of nominees for each elective office and a petition for an election is not timely filed, an appointment to such elective office shall be made.
  5. The      Candidate     (Candidate or District) is to pay for the publication of a Candidate’s Statement pursuant to elections code Sec. 10509.
