PFW Program Strategic Plan Revisions Comment Request from Katheryn Pitkin, Private Lands Biologist, Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program

Hello Grassland landowners, and wetlands managers:

We are currently updating our program’s strategic plan and would like to provide program participants such as private landowners, conservation stakeholders, tribes, and others with an opportunity to participate in a stakeholder interview. Attached is the list of questions that will be used to guide the stakeholder interview and the Pacific Flyway chapter of the PFW Program Strategic Plan, which we are requesting comments on.

The Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program are guided by five-year strategic plans. The strategic plans are comprehensive documents, which develop a strategic framework with five measurable goals (see below), geographic focus areas, biological objectives, monitoring plans, and population outcomes.

Goal 1: Conserve Habitat
Goal 2: Broaden and Strengthen Partnerships
Goal 3: Improve Information Sharing and Communication
Goal 4: Develop Our Workforce
Goal 5: Ensure Accountability

As a component of the strategic planning process, we need your input and feedback on how we may align our priorities and leverage our conservation efforts across programs, agencies and organizations, to better achieve our strategic planning goals.
